This is absolutely priceless

Okay for some reason I'm on a "government planning" kick today. But I couldn't pass this one up. Can't afford gas? Buy a second home closer to where you need to go.

Conventional wisdom says that soaring fuel prices as leading people by the droves to abandon the automobile and get on the bus (or light rail, or subway, or street car, etc.)! Yet one couple in the St. Louis metropolitan area has taken a different approach. Says the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Carol and Robert Miles recently realized that they were spending nearly $800 a month on gasoline. For that money, they figured they could buy a second house. So they did.
