Sarah Palin's book--I’m half way through the book and it’s the best policy, inside-politics book I’ve ever read. Yes, and I should know as I used to work inside the big RINO machine. So far in the past week alone, I’ve run into two Palin book readers. I was walking into the Cracker Barrel with my book and a little old couple was walking out clutching their copy. We exchanged a smile and a nod. Then, while I was reading mine at the local diner, a gentleman passing by my table, saw the title at the top of the page, pointed to it and smiled, giving me a thumbs up sign. Sarah Palin is the only voice of true conservatism standing between the United States as a free Republic and the fall of that free Republic. Well, Sarah and the thousands of "tea-baggers" who see what is happening. Will it be enough? I don't know, but I'm not above asking for prayer to be involved.

Healthcare-This amounts to government ownership of your body and the last major hurdle to creating an easily manipulated nation-state of nanny governed sheeple. Why would the Democrats risk losing their seats of power over this vote, as polling clearly indicates? Because this is their opportunity to make the first small step toward a one world government and to place themselves within the scope of that governing body. Why would Nancy Pelosi care a twit about her constituents when she sees the opportunity of being appointed to some world government aristocracy funded by Soros et al. Think I'm being too nutty in this regard? Well, just look what they are doing.

Obama has already been appointed to preside over the United Nations Security Council. How can he both be bound to the Constitution and as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces for the United States and hold allegiance to the United Nations. Section 9 of the Constitute states,

Hollywood's Conservative Underground 'Friends of Abe' group meets quietly

A group of politically conservative and centrist Hollywood figures organized by actor Gary Sinise and others has been meeting quietly in restaurants and private homes, forming a loose-knit network of entertainers who share common beliefs like supporting U.S. troops and traditional American values. of those involved are taking more public steps to counter the entertainment industry's tilt toward liberalism and Democratic politics, such as campaigning for Republican Sen. John McCain or crafting projects to portray America in a more positive light.The group, whose members call themselves "Friends of Abe" after Abraham Lincoln, was organized as an underground movement because of fears that prominent industry titans with outspoken liberal views would retaliate, said participants. They often were reluctant to name members of the group in interviews for fear it would hurt their careers.

Oh yeah and Gary Sinise falls within another category of mine, Celebrating the Heterosexual White Male.

Note to Michelle Obama, if you're like me you used that paltry return of tax dollars to pay another tax bill, my school district tax. It did feel good to be able to pay my school district tax bill, especially when you consider how wonderfully successful all of our schools are at graduating top rate students/end sarcasm, but not as good as not having that tax bill in the first place. Not to be ungrateful or anything.

Oh and btw, no earrings for me and even if I did purchase earrings they would be the $12 kind from WalMart. So, really I could have used $600 to purchase one pair of earrings, two weeks worth of gas and a month's worth of groceries. Or I could have placed it in an interest bearing account and maybe had a little extra money set aside to help pay for Christmas gifts and my heating bill this winter. So, yeah, that's what I could have done with that. But no, this "quick fix" went right back from wence it came...the government.

“You're getting $600 - what can you do with that?” Mrs. Obama said in Pontiac, Michigan last week. “Not to be ungrateful or anything, but maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn't pay down every bill every month. The short-term quick fix kinda stuff sounds good, and it may even feel good that first month when you get that check, and then you go out and you buy a pair of earrings."
