CBC Writer Heather Mallick's "Critical Writing"

I'm glad Heather Mallick thinks so highly of her own writing because maybe self delusion has gotten her where she is...a nice cushy job with a nice cushy salary paid for by money taken at the point of a gun from the law abiding tax payers of Canada. Nice work if you can get it.

Her "critical writing" overwhelms and includes such exemplary prose as:

"It's possible that Republican men, sexual inadequates that they are..."
(Me thinks, thou dost protest too much, Heather.)

"I'm a feminist who understands that women can nurse terrible and delicate woman hatred"
(Yeah, ya think. That's obvious.)

"Palin was not a sure choice, not even for the stolidly Republican ladies branch of Citizens for a Tackier America. No, she isn't even female really."
(Really? Really.)

"John Doyle, the cleverest critic in Canada, comes right out and calls Palin an Alaska hillbilly. Damn his eyes, I wish I'd had the wit to come up with it first. It's safer than "white trash""
(Clever AND Critical, maybe, but no wit. I'd recommend CBC hire Proof, the Dissident Frogman, or Mark Steyn if they want wit.)

"Palin has a toned-down version of the porn actress look.."
(So, what makes you, Heather, such an expert on the porn actress look?)

"Bristol has what is known in Britain as the look of the teen mum, the "pramface." Husband Todd looks like a roughneck; Track, heading off to Iraq, appears terrified. They claim to be family obsessed while being studiously terrible at parenting. What normal father would want Levi "I'm a fuckin' redneck" Johnson prodding his daughter?"
(I'm guessing your critical writing just would not have been so critical without that F bomb.)

Heather, I hate to break this to you because I know how hard you are trying to impress your European Commi friends but, really, you just sound like a jealous old harpy. And to quote a famous American who probably shared your own inclinations toward the vulgar tongue, “I don't even know what street Canada is on.” ~Al Capone
