- In 2004, after the reelection of George W. Bush, I left politics and my position with an influential member of Congress. The Republican Party I had worked for since graduating from college seemed to be falling into their comfortable seats of power, ignoring the conservative ideals of President Ronald Reagan, whose legacy they were elected to uphold. I write to remind them of their duty to preserve the rights so dearly won, and their duty in defending our sovereign nation from Islamic fascists, sharia creep and socialist utopians. Oh, and I also wanted to promote that most excellent blog The Dissident Frogman.

Yes, you are right of course and tying Clara in would have made it more effective. Republicans aren't exactly on the cutting edge of what's cool though... *Sigh*
