I named my blog after Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus -- A Roman consul who served only long enough to save his Republic before returning to his farm. Cincinnatus was the inspiration for the Order of Cincinnatus, to which George Washington and Lafayette and many other American Patriots were members. Omnia relinquit servare rempublicam - He relinquished everything to serve the Republic.

You Might Live In A Red State If...
This is what you see on your way home from work. Yes, looks like one of my neighbors is clearly not a Democrat.
But the best part...notice the crowd of donkeys around the second sign. Clearly a sign from God that He has a sense of humor. Heh. :D
If you look out to the right of the second picture, you will see what looks like a little gray donkey blur. It was the cutest little baby donkey. It made me think that no innocent animal deserves to be the image of the Democrat party. Maybe the Dems could have used a stone as their mascot. Because they do seem to represent a stone of failure, defeat, debt and tyranny that they're determined to hang around everyone else's neck. Just a thought...

I agree. At least donkey know how to take care of themselves...
Nice, I bet we start to see more of these signs in the future.
If it was a millstone, that might imply work. I don't think they'd go for that!
Yeah, and I didn't even snap photos of all the "Not Hiring" signs in spanish for the Mexican immigrant farm worker population. I've seen these on almost every horse farm that I pass.
I should make some of those for my street :)
